2. Purpose and conditions of use
Ruum is an online platform (software as a service, SaaS) aimed at professionals and companies in the construction, renovation and related sectors (contractors, construction companies, architects, quantity surveyors, interior designers and other professional profiles), which allows users to create, manage and share construction quotes, as well as to organise projects, clients, teams and associated documentation.
Accessing and using the Service confers the status of user and implies acceptance of this Legal Notice, the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy. The user undertakes to make diligent use of the Service in accordance with the law, good faith and public order.
Ruum is aimed exclusively at professionals and companies and is not designed for or directed at minors. For further detail, see the relevant clause of the Terms and Conditions of Use.
3. Intellectual and industrial property
All intellectual and industrial property rights over the Service, including but not limited to the software, source code, design, interface, navigation structure, databases, texts, logos, trademarks and other elements, are owned by Ruum or by third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by applicable national and international regulations.
The reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation, in whole or in part, of the contents of the Service without the express written authorisation of the owner is prohibited.
The contents that users enter into the Service (projects, quotes, documents, templates, etc.) are and remain their property, on the terms set out in the Terms and Conditions of Use.
4. Liability
The Service is provided, in its current phase, with a continuous-improvement approach. Ruum makes reasonable efforts to ensure the Service works correctly, but does not guarantee the complete absence of errors or uninterrupted availability.
Ruum shall not be liable for damages arising from improper use of the Service by the user, nor for the truthfulness, accuracy or suitability of the contents entered by users (for example, the amounts, measurements or conditions reflected in a quote), which are the sole responsibility of whoever creates them.
The quotes and documents generated with Ruum are professional support tools; responsibility for their content and technical and legal validity lies with the professional user who issues them.
5. Links
The Service may contain links to third-party sites or resources. Ruum is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of such third parties. The inclusion of a link does not imply a recommendation of, or relationship with, the linked site.
6. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
7. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of disputes with professional users, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Burgos, unless a mandatory rule provides for another jurisdiction. Where the user has the status of consumer, the jurisdiction and protective regulations that legally correspond to them shall apply.
